Jeffrey Lord, a CNN political commentator, columnist and author, is a former associate political director in the Reagan White House. Previously he served as an aide to HUD Secretary Jack Kemp, former Warner-Amex (now Time Warner) chairman and Reagan Secretary of Transportation Drew Lewis, US Senator John Heinz and US Congressman Bud Shuster. He is a contributing editor and columnist at The American Spectator, and a columnist at Conservative Review and NewsBusters. Lord is the author of The Borking Rebellion, the 2005 story of a U.S. Senate judicial confirmation battle. His work has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Washington Times, The Los Angeles Times, National Review Online, and The Weekly Standard. He has previously appeared on Fox's Hannity, Hannity and Colmes, The Big Show with John Gibson and the Saturday edition of America's News Headquarters with Brian Wilson, as well as on the Fox Business Channel with Stuart Varney. He has appeared on some 100 radio talk shows across America, including national shows with Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, Mike Gallagher and Lou Dobbs. His work has been cited on-air by radio host Rush Limbaugh.
