Rabbi Lisa Grushcow, DPhil

Rabbi Lisa J. Grushcow, DPhil is the senior rabbi of Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom, Montreal’s only Reform congregation. She was ordained by Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion (New York) in 2003, where she was a Wexner Graduate Fellow, and holds master’s and doctoral degrees from Oxford University, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar. She is the author of Writing the Wayward Wife: Rabbinic Interpretations of Sotah and is a contributor to The Torah: A Woman's Commentary, and Mishkan Moeid: A Guide to the Jewish Seasons. She serves on the board of the Central Conference of Reform Rabbis.
