Humans, Dogs, and Civilization

Partly a memoir of my 77 years with dogs and a blend of cutting-edge science on dog cognition and evolution, but written in an easy flowing narrative, 'Humans, Dogs, and Civilization" show how dogs made it possible for humans tsetse in villages & build civilizations. Without dogs, we'd still be nomadic hunter-gatherers in the Stone Age.
